With some new yarn my mom gave me for Christmas, I crafted myself a new hat on the drive home from Southern California to Oregon... It looks nothing like the pattern, but thankfully fits well and is quite warm!
I used 3+ balls of Debbie Bliss Merino Chuny and followed the pattern the cover featured pattern in Just Hats. (Click the link to see a picture of the hat on the cover.)

The rushing river in the background was pretty loud, it was very cold, and she was tired. Sensory overload, country style. I promised I picked her up, held her close and gave her many kisses only a moment later. After warming up in the car during lovely Sunday drive through the farmland, we had a nice pasta dinner in a neighboring town...
